Mott Visuals is a boutique visual production studio specializing in premium commercial photography, video production, and social content with offices in Bangkok, HCMC, and Hanoi serving all of Asia and beyond. We were founded in 2009 by renowned photographer and director Justin Mott. We offer clients a one-stop shop to suit all their visual needs.
We started off with one photographer and one assistant calling a small Vietnamese café our office. Through the years we’ve blossomed into a full visual production studio with a global team of associate photographers, cinematographers, and directors all coming from a storytelling and editorial background based throughout Asia and beyond.
The core team of Mott Visuals is made up of global storytellers with a background shooting for the largest publications and media outlets in the world including The New York Times, CNN, National Geographic, BBC, NBC, Discovery Channel, FOX, Forbes, The Wall Street Journat, Conde Nast Traveler to name a few.
When Mott Visuals was founded we brought our experience and core storytelling style to the commerical market producing visuals for clients that cover a wide spectrum of industries.

Justin is an American award winning documentary, editorial, and commercial photographer and director based in Asia for over a decade.
He has shot over 100 assignments for The New York Times covering a wide spectrum of topics throughout the region. A collectin of his work "The Changing Face Of Vietnam" was featured on the BBC.
He founded Mott Visuals in 2009 bringing his editorial and storytelling background to the commercial photography and video production market.

QUYNH ANH NGUYEN
Quynh Anh has worked as executuve producer for Mott Visuals since the company launched. She is fluent in Vietnamese and English and has worked as Executive Producer on global AD campaigns for both photography and films. She has worked as EP locally on shoots for VTV, Techcomm Bank, Petrolimex , and Sun Group and globally for multinational coorperations such as NIKE, Intercontinental Resorts, Reebok, Movenpick,Ogilvy and Mather, and Holiday Inn

Christian is a German commercial and documentary photographer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With a degree in Southeast Asian studies and fluency in English, German, and Vietnamese, Christian’s vast knowledge of the region and the countries he works in is an indispensable part of his work.
His work as a photojournalist has been published in The New York Times, Wallstreet Journal, Financial Times, National Geographic Traveler, Glamour, Forbes and others.
On the commercial side Christian has worked on photography and video projects throughout Asia with clients such as Ogilvy,IHG, Movenpick, Accor and Unilever .

HEAD OF VIDEO PRODUCTION
Joey is a director and cinematographer hailing from Auckland, New Zealand. After completing a Masters degree in documentary film he has gone on to shoot and direct a range of documentary, commercial and broadcast TV content.
Joey’s commercial work includes TVCs, branded content and web promos for clients including NIKE, IHG, Vodafone, Panasonic, Ford and Cisco.
His documentaries and music videos have garnered both film festival accolades and online acclaim appearing on The Guardian, Vice, Gizmodo and Vimeo Staff Picks.
As a broadcast TV cinematographer, Joey’s work has screened internationally on BBC Worldwide, History Channel, National Geographic and NBC. When he’s not on the road with the Mott Visuals team, Joey splits his time between London and Singapore.
